 !!! Shoe Showcase 05/09/2022 !!! 

Glitter Hightops:

MY FAVVV!!! I love my glitter hightops <3 Theyre from walmart or something like that x_x But theyre so good
Even though the glitter is a lil uncomfy to rub against sometimes...the glitter DOESNT rub off at all!!! Which is why I love them so much! xD Theyve not been too damaged from wearing them so often for years. Still in good shape! So I highly recommend cheap hightops!!!

Gloomy Bear/Monster Logo Hand Painted VANS:

I painted these myself!!! I had a sun-bleached pair of old VANS lying outside...(I forgot about them outside for like half a year.) But I decided to paint them and BOOM! Perfect scenekid shoes. I once got popular over my painted bag and these! <3 

Glitter Boots with a Heel:

My mom got these for me off somewhere...I dont remember where X_X sorry. These are awful to walk in but make me feel like such a diva!! XD Theyre comfy to wear too, but their glitter stickers are coming off the shoe. They were expensive too X_X ugh why boots why...

Red Dress Shoes: 

These are my favorite fancy shoes to wear! Theyre a lil small now...but theyre super shiny and pretty! They have a lil buckle on the tops and I wore my frilly lolita socks with em! x3 I dont get to wear these often, but they make me feel supa handsome!!! <3

[OLD] How to express yourself and be more authentic! :3

Haiii everyone!!! I haven't posted in a FOREVER!!!!!! I am so sorry xC Ive been doing stuff!!!! But here's a post <3

 A couple months ago I did my big tests!!! I don't think I flunked the entirety of it, but I still sucked at math... (spoiler I got average scores....) I have another coming up this month before school ends!!! WOO SUMMER BREAK IS SOON!!!

Anyways! I remember that day, and I noticed I was the only one wearing much color at all O_o Everyone else was wearing a lot of black and white! No color at all for the most part :C!!!! It seemed so unnatural, the way everyone was wearing the same thing basically...

And I stuck out like a sore thumb, with my blue sweater and purple jeans. Plus my rainbow socks and shoes... It wasn't the most stealthy outfit for not wanting to be bothered by jerks at school x_x but I wore it anyways because it made me happy!

So today's post is...A POST ABOUT FASHION AND HOW TO BE UR MOST AUTHENTIC SELF THROUGH YOUR APPEARANCE!!! xD

1. Dress how you want!

The mOOSSTTT!!! Important!!!! Thing!!!! Is to simply dress how you want. That means: don't worry about others opinions about you, and don't wear things that make you uncomfortable! Simple as that! 

Maybe finding a style/fashion/subculture you like first can help! (Specially if you were like me at age 12, I just wore what i was told to...)  My personal fav subculture/fashion styles are early 2000s trends! I love anything 2000s, so its not a surprise I love to dress that way too xD I really like Emo, Scene, and 2000s J-fashion! A LOT! But yours can be simply anything you'd like! There's tons out there, and you might even create your own fashion style :D!!! Be creative with it, and don't care what others think ^_^! 

2.  Finding a subculture/fashion style you like!

I for sure didn't have a easy time finding ones I like X_x I liked so many and it was hard to choose which made me feel most authentic. At the end of it I just wear whatever!!!! Im not tied down to one simple aesthetic or subculture. Thats frankly BORING! So I wear all kinds. But here's a list of my personal favs!

• J-fashion (harajuku fashions!!!!! I love menhera and Gyaru!)
• Scene and Emo
• Punk and Goth
• cottagecore and fairycore fashion!
• weirdcore fashion!
• kidcore and rainbowcore fashion!
• annnnnd much more....

And I don't dress in each strictly, I like to mix and match a lot! Although I do not wear much cottagecore-esk stuff anymore, its still one of my favorites! Personally I just wear whatever makes me feel comfortable! So if that's Scenekid fashion some days, so be it! And if I wanna dress more J-fashion, then sure that too ^_^ Its all about what you find most comfy! And dont be afraid to draw out of the lines! Its super fun to make up your own shit, and just go with a mess of an outfit xD!!!

3. Makeeeeuppppp!

Makeup is BY FAR the best way to express yourself. (in my opinion) Just draw on your face with some and BOOm. Youre set! And don't worry about if it looks bad, messy makeup does NOT equal bad makeup. heck I still dont know how to do eyeliner....So I just wing it and say fuck it if I mess up xDD 

I love to put all kinds of colors on my face with eyeshadow and blush :D Its no different than me drawing on a day-to-day basis! Just on mai face xD 

Also!!!!!!!! There is tons of "makeup styles" out there! Even specific ones for your favorite subcultures/fashion styles! EX. Gyaru has big eyeliner and tan skin! They use a lot of glam and glitter in their makeup! (usually lol)

Take inspo from styles and go with it!!! Try em out and see what you like, or what is most comfortable! If makeup isnt your thing, thats okay too!!! <3 Just know that you are already perfect without makeup!!! Societal beauty-norms DO NOT MATTER! Just wear what ya want, and do whatever!!! You LITERALLY only live once in this lifetime, so why spend that time worrying about what some Karen thinks?? Youre seriously too ROYAL for that kind of shit u_u Just do what you want and try to be your most authentic self!!!

4.  Accessorieeeess!!! The last one ^U^

I literally cannot explain to you how good accessorising is!! I love to make myself jewelry and DIY hair pins! Its a really great way to spice up an outfit! Jewelry, hair accessories, fake tattoos, bags, glitter, etc!  I love to accessorize my shoes a lot, with pony beads and paper wings! (I made paper wings with holes so my shoes could have wings!) Not only that but you can literally do ANYTHING! Wanna DIY some swaggy sunglasses? HELL YEAH! Making kandi bracelets with glitter beads? YEAH!!!!! Wanna glam your tiny purse with gems and glitter? DUDE IF YOU DO I WANT IT SO BAD XD The point is to be as authentic as possible, so again, like Ive been saying this entire time....

Just wear and do what you want!

[OLD] Hair Accessory Collection ^_^

 

All of these are from mai childhood! I used to have really long hair and my mom would do it for me everyday! But I stopped wearing them at all, and soon enough my mom just gave me the whole bunch! These by far are my favorites, some of them belonging to my siblings ^_^

Though I dont have long hair anymore, since I got it cut short a couple years back! When i was trying to figure out my gender and such lolz.  These were my favorite out of the bunch, I really should wear them more.

Some are missing sadly :( I miss when I would wear cute hair accessories! Reminder that boys can wear skirts! Boys can wear cute clips in their hair! Boys can wear pink if they so choose! 

I used to have a BUNCH of clippies with halloween stuff on them! And sparkly stuff too! I really should find more at some point...Or make some DIY ones. Maybe I'll make a DIY post later? Who knows. But for right now these are the ones I have! Aint they cute?

I have quite a bit of broken ones :( Its cause I wore them so much lolz. I also have some SUPER sparkly ones up at the top next to the blue bow ^_^ Those were always so annoying to wear but so cute... Lots of sparkles xD

[OLD] Gyaru Magazines are so cool?! O_o

   

Hai todays post is gonna be SUPA CUTE! I know this blog was originally for scene/emo/alt things, but I think Gyaru and Japanese fashions deserve a place here! After all, I do love me some Harajuku fashion and Gyaru! <3 

 

First one is this Koakuma Ageha Magazine! She's so cute with her makeup, I just love how old 2000s mags looked >_< I wish we could have this kind of thing again! Everything now-a-days is so bland and same same. Where's the glam?
No but seriously, Ive been collecting American fashion mags for a while! (since around 2014) And They all slowly started getting more boring by the year... T-T Ive seen plenty of cool looking mags from the 2000s, idk where any of it went. xC 

I want mai glam mags!!!

UWA!!! This one is so friggin cute!!! I love Popteen so much, Ive seen so much from their mags...
Her makeup is soooo cute! The eyelashes fit well with her eye shape! I could never T-T I have one eye bigger than the other. I'd look like Coco from Imaginary Friends.  ALSO I love her lil glasses, I doubt theyre real, but theyre still super adorable! Her nails have tiny bows on them, which is very Gyaru! And then the iconic pale pink lip gloss <3

WE CANT FORGET ABOUT EGG!!! God I love Egg Magazine U_U Not only did they do a TON of Gyaru fashion mags, but also other styles! I love this mag so much... The girls on the cover look like theyre having so much fun! Also the McDonalds drinks are iconic in this image... Egg was very into having their models eat fastfood in the shot.... If you check a bunch of their covers, they do indeed have a lot of fastfood imagery. Which makes sense since Gyaru is heavily based in Western culture (American tingz lol.) 
I love these girl's hairstyles though!!! I always have loved the way most early 2000s japanese haircuts were very layered! (Like how J-rock boys have supa cool hair!) I dunno, Egg Mags are so cool!!!

ANYWAYS! Thats all I have time for today. Formatting this was a hassle, but a learning experience since I need to learn to indent with images and such. ^_^

Ive always loved 2000s animes! xD  
I can never get tired of them tbh...so here's my top 10 favorite 2000s animes!

10. Diabolik Lovers (1 and 2)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST LMAO this anime....thing....Okay I only have this on the list because I love vampire animes! I hated the rest of the story/etc. A bunch of vampire dudes ganging up on a seemingly "super innocent" and "fragile" girl just to drink her "super duper yummy" blood. And somehow this random gal is so important to all these random weirdo dudes? I dunno. I find it a really funny and awkward to watch anime xD If you wanna get second hand embarrassment over some vampire dude calling her a bitch constantly be my guest.........but the only real good thing about the anime is some of the characters that were really nicely written in my opinion! 

9. Toradora

Okay this one was really cute, but with the Tsuderes??? I loved the story and everything, it wasn't too half bad. Which is why its on this list to begin with! BUT I hate that they made Taiga look like a LITERAL child. She is so so so short...Thats really my only complaint from when i watched it, just wish she actually looked like a high schooler. Instead of a 7 year old. Otherwise, its a nice anime to watch to pass time tbh! Not super duper long, but still cute! Their dynamic was sweet [sorta!]
